What’s Discipleship?  Choosing to follow Jesus everyday by…1)being baptized with water for repentance and the Holy Spirit for power, 2) living daily in the fullness and direction of the Holy Spirit, 3) learning to do everything Jesus commanded in faith and the power of the Holy Spirit, 4) becoming an agent of God’s grace and truth at home, school, work and play, 5) going and making other disciples of Jesus Christ.

弟子化とは何ですか？  日々にイエス様について行こうとすることで、1)悔い改めるために水洗礼を受け、証人となる力のために聖霊様によるバプテスマを受ける、2)日々に聖霊様に満ちて、導かれる生活をする、3)信仰と聖霊の力でイエス様が命じたすべてのことを行う、4)家、学校、仕事と遊びにあっても神様の恵みと真実を表すこと、5)行って他にｲｴｽ･ｷﾘｽﾄの弟子を造りに行くことです。

What’s MiniChurch? 1) Two or more people gathering in Jesus’ Name, 2) who devote themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer, giving to the needs of others and praising God, 3) gathering together at least once a month, 4) committed to growing in faith and love with God and each other, and 5) connected by their MiniChurch Pastor to the spiritual and material resources of Hope Chapel Makiki.

ミニチャーチとは何ですか？ 1) イエス様の御名による集まる二人三人、2) 使徒の教えと交わり、パンを裂きと祈り、分け与えることと神への感謝を堅く守り 3) 少なくとも月に一回集まり、4) 信仰と神様またお互いを愛するように成長しようとし、そして 5)ミニチャーチ牧師を通してホープ・チャペル・マキキの霊的と物質的な資源につなげるものです。

What’s…devotion? (Acts 2:42-47, 4:32-37, 1 Corinthians 7:17-40) giving your time, energy, ability, resources and relationships…to the teaching of the apostles? (1 Corinthians 4:17, Titus 2:1-15, Hebrews 5:12-6:2) learning about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; why Jesus and the Holy Spirit came; their power and faithfulness toward all believers; living in grace and truth; and doing all Jesus commanded...to the fellowship? (1 Corinthians 1:9-31, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 John 1:1-10) individuals, groups and congregations of God’s people who believe in and follow Jesus Christ…to the breaking of bread? (Mark 14:22-25, John 6:32-58, 1 Corinthians 11:23-34) receiving the bread and cup of communion to remember and celebrate Christ’s death in our place...to prayer? (Matthew 6:5-15, Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Timothy 2:1-6) talking with God about our cares, hopes, fears, needs, people who need His help, appreciating His love, grace, power, peace and presence in our lives and listening for His response…to giving to the needs of others? (Acts 4:34, James 2:15, 1 John 3:17) sharing and giving to people around you—firstly believers, then anyone else—to meet their need...to praising God?
